Late last year, the team behind trendy subterranean Nolita nightlife spot The Mulberry opened a chic street-level companion, Café Mulberry. It’s fronted by a coffee counter for to-go service, with coffee by cool-kid Brooklyn roaster SEY and bread and pastries by La Bicyclette Bakery. Beyond a thick velvet curtain, the space opens up to the narrow, railroad car-style dining room for brunch, lunch, and dinner service.
