The Skinny: In a patinated, postage-stamp-sized space, Odo East Village is a new casual offshoot from chef Hiroki Odo (of Odo in Chelsea). The 14-seat bar marries seasonal, technique-driven ideals of kaiseki cuisine with the informal energy of a shochu-splashed izakaya. It’s also entirely gluten-free, not that you’d ever notice.
