Neighborhood you work & live in: Williamsburg
It’s Tuesday morning. What’s the scene at your workplace?
I’m a big fan of routine, so every morning starts the same: hitting the gym, followed by my daily coffee fix at Designers Collab. While I usually work from my home office, Designers Collab is more than just my neighborhood coffee spot — it’s where most of my work meetings happen. And when I’m not working in Williamsburg, you’ll find me tucked into a cozy corner at The Ludlow Hotel or Hotel Chelsea.
At Gathered in Style, the creative event agency I founded in 2021, we have producers based all over the country. In the lead-up to our events, we’ll typically work remotely with the occasional in-person creative meeting and, of course, in-person site visits and event days.
What’s on the agenda for today?
Right now, I’m focused on developing two standout guest experiences: one around Hilton’s GRAMMYs program in Los Angeles, and another celebrating the opening of M by The Alinea Group, along with the new Gondola and Kircliff viewing experience at Big Sky Resort in Montana. On top of that, I’ve been deep in the process of redefining the brand strategy for Gathered in Style and preparing to launch our new website and brand refresh.
Any restaurant plans today, tonight, this weekend?
There’s truly nothing I love more than a cozy wine or cocktail bar with great small plates. Binx, Bar Bonobo, and Sip & Guzzle are a few I truly love. I don’t feel the need to save these spots for weekend outings only, and will often frequent them midweek on a Tuesday night for date night or a networking meetup. And I absolutely love everything Chef India Doris and her team are doing at Markette in Chelsea.
How about a little leisure or culture this week?
I’m a wellness girlie through and through. Over the past year, I’ve committed to getting a facial at Glowbar every month, and it’s legit changed my skin. You can also find me at Bathhouse in Williamsburg on the regular. There’s also nothing I love more than hot/cold therapy to reset my mind-body connection.
What’s a recent big-ticket purchase you love?
I firmly believe every event planner needs a chic pair of loafers. So at the end of the summer, I finally treated myself — my first designer splurge: Prada loafers. Worth every penny.
What NYC store or service do you love to recommend?
I’m a big foodie and love going out to eat, but cooking elaborate meals for a crowd isn’t my thing. Still, as an event planner, I can’t help but love hosting. That’s where Misipasta always comes clutch. If you’re throwing a dinner party and want to impress, pick up their fresh pastas, sauces, and my personal favorite, the whipped ricotta on sourdough. It’s an instant crowd-pleaser.
