A lot has changed since Gurney’s opened in Montauk in the summer 1926, but then again, a lot hasn’t. The resort still runs on the same basic premise: ocean views, salt air, and the particular relief of being at the very end of a very long road. Still, what’s new this centennial summer at the classic resort is worth noting.
