Favorite new restaurants we visited during fall/early winter ’25.

→ WILD CHERRY (West Village, above), Le Rock’s Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson take over restaurant at Cherry Lane Theater, and it’s a very fun time, reserve

→ SEAHORSE (Union Square), John McDonald’s upscale seafood spot grabs pole position at remade W Union Square, reserve

→ COVE (Tribeca), chef Flynn McGarry’s new spot, for 8-course tasting menu ($210 per) or à la carte, reserve

→ YŪGIN (Midtown East), sushi counter on the 37th floor of the General Motors building, serving an original, daily-changing menu built on the world’s best ingredients: Japanese seafood, truffles, and caviar, reserve
