ASK FOUND
Last week, a FOUND subscriber inquired:
I started a new job downtown in the WTC area and need to cater kosher foods for breakfast and lunch meetings. What are the very good kosher restaurant options downtown or elsewhere in Manhattan?
A timely reply from another FOUND reader: “Lox Cafe in the Museum of Jewish Heritage (and uptown in the Jewish Museum) at 36 Battery Place — certified kosher.”
Two more PROMPTS for your consideration:
Where are you booking for a ski trip in 2026?

Bistrot hot
Tucked just below Delancey Street on Eldridge, Bistrot Ha has the feel of a Lower East Side restaurant from 20 years ago — a little raw, a little unfinished, and the hottest seat in town. When we arrived on a recent Thursday night for a 6p reservation, I took in the scene with delight.
[Free subscribers, this is where we leave you. After the paywall, the room fills, the Ha’s Martinis arrive, and we ponder Bistrot Ha’s place alongside its sibling, Ha’s Snack Bar. Also below: our Greenpoint Restaurant 9s, a necklace from idyl to consider for your daily stack, the Thai dive bar with incredible food artist Raphael-Bachir Osman recommends, the cult coffee shop opening in Tribeca next week, and all the best links in your inbox.]
